Western Australia’s Shame

About six weeks ago, the Trust wrote an open letter to Norman Moore, the Minister for Fisheries in Australia, urging him not to approve a retaliatory hunt for white sharks in the wake of the death of a surfer. We received a letter back from the Minister, which was not particularly responsive to our concerns. Sadly, our concerns went unheard – the Australian government approved the culling protocol.
